No TICLANG Arm compilers, supporting device 'AM64x'.

Hello Ti,

I am new for Sitara series and working on AM64x EVM. I am trying to compile example code GPIO from sdk mcu_plus_sdk_am64x_09_00_00_30. I get error saying "No TICLANG Arm compilers, supporting device 'AM64x'." while importing project.

I tried to install to TICLANG compiler in both ways through ccs and manually downloading and installing package from site https://www.ti.com/tool/download/ARM-CGT-CLANG/2.1.3.LTS, but CCS is not able to recognize the compiler it did not help.

My machine settings and CCS version

Host Machine - Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS
CCS 12.2.0.0007

Hello Anshu,

I tried to install compiler as suggested and i see both version ti-cgt-armllvm_2.1.3.LTS & ti-cgt-armllvm_3.2.0.LTS in <ccs_install_dir>/ccsv[x]/tools/compiler/ directory.

However I see only TI Arm Clang 2.1.3 LTS compiler is detected in CCS Products, but compiler is not listed or detected in compilers section of CCS (Window--> Preferences --> Code Composer Studio --> Build --> Compilers)

I still face same issue not able to import the example project.

Hello shivaji,

I see that you are using MCU+ SDK v09.00.00.30. I am not sure how did you get this version but this is not a released version. The latest release is MCU+ SDK v09.00.00.35.

Could you please move to the latest released version and try importing the project then.
