Hi,
I have ported Android GingerBread 2.3.4 on Beagleboard-xM version.
Now i want to interface GSM modem with the board using the serial port.
From the schematic of beagleboard-xm(DM3730)
-- Uart 3 is coming on the board which cannot be used for interfacing(GSM modem) since it used for checking the boot parameters.
-- Uart 1 pins is a No Connect
-- Uart 2 pins are used for USB connections
can anyone help me out on how to interface the GSM modem using serial port without making any changes on the board
