Where is the SYS/BIOS scheduler source code?

I have found much of the SYS/BIOS source code in my CCS 4 installation under:

"C:\TI\bios_6_31_04_27\packages\ti\bios"

but I cannot find the code that is responsible for scheduling HWIs, SWIs and tasks.

Please will you tell me which software module is responsible for task scheduling?

The files in ti/bios directory are used to support the legacy BIOS 5.x APIs.

The SYS/BIOS source is in the ti/sysbios directories.

You need to look in ti/sysbios/knl for the kernel sources (Task and Swi schedulers), and ti/sysbios/family for your device-specific Hwi implementation. If you go to supported device list in the release notes, there's a delegate link that will show which Hwi module and Timer module is used for a given device.

Thanks for your reply. I am now in the correct folder:

"C:\TI\bios_6_31_04_27\packages\ti\sysbios\"

but I still can't identify the source code for the scheduler(s). Please will you tell me a filename to look at?

Look at ti/sysbios/knl/Task.c for Task scheduler

Look at ti/sysbios/knl/Swi.c for Swi scheduler

Look at ti/sysbios/family/c64p/Hwi.c for Hwi dispatcher [assuming you are using c6000 arch]
