AM3715 LPDDR interface termination

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AM3715

Hi,

I am working on AM3715 schematics design. I chose CUS package, and a 2Gb (64Mx32) LPDDR SDRAM is used in my system. According to the datasheet of AM3715, series termination can be used to reduce EMI. The SDRC_DMx signals are classified as DQx signal group, and the series termination should be placed close to LPDDR chip (Page 185, page 187  of datasheet, Rev.F). To my understanding, the DMx signals are output port of processor (Input port of LPDDR), the series termination should be placed close to AM3715 (the driver side). Is the datasheet  wrong? Or is there some special consideration here? Should I follow the design guide?
