hi,

    1.  Can the AM3517 support the MPEG-4/H.264/VC-1 video encodec and decodec without external IC?

     I have a guest who hope the AM3517 can support  the upwards video formats.

    This question is difficult to answer - a lot depends upon resolution and fps and also if encode/decode  are happening simultaneously or not. It also depends upon how optimized your ARM codecs are. In general, for such capability, you should choose a device with DSP
