AM623: MMCSD Backup boot and RAW mode

Part Number: AM623

Hi Team,

Does MMCSD backup boot (section 5.3.1.2 in the datasheet) use filesystem mode or raw mode? There isn't a signal for it like B7 in the primary boot table (please see 5.4.4.1 also)

Also, when operating in Raw mode, are the relative offsets for the tiboot3.bin, tispl.bin, and u-boot.img the same in the user data area as in the hardware boot partition?

Thank you,

I just confirmed with the source, the ROM code will default to using FS mode for MMCSD backup boot. Raw mode will NOT be used in this case.

Yes the offsets will be the same.
