Hello,
I am working on a project for which i have to develop a board that captures three simultaneous XGA signals and outputs USB data.
After searching ti's forums and seeing some schematic designs, i think i will have to use the following
(in sequence of data flow):
1. an RGBVH buffer that supports PC signals with separate sync(such as THS7347) . I thnk THS7347 supports two RGBVH input signals simultaneously. The third RGBVH channel is for monitor output. Will i have to use two THS7347, One taking two XGA's as input and the other taking one XGA
Can THS7347 be controlled in such a way that the xga signals at the ouput of THS7347(one which is fed with two XGAs) appear to be simultaneous? Can i have any schematics for ths7347's interface with TVP7002 for 5 wired vga/xga etc.
2. TVP7002 (that takes buffered xga signals as input and converts them into 16-bit Y/C data with embedded sync.As TVP7002 is
limited to two simultaneous RGBVH signals, I'll have to use two tvp7002. Is it? What should be TVP7002 settings in order to ouput two XGA signals so that they seem to be output simutaneously?
3. DM6467 (with its VPIF connected to 16-bit Y/C data; Some sort of multiplexing is required between TVP7002's output and DM6467's
VPIF as there are three 16-bit Y/C data and DM6467's VPIF port has a 16-bit input port). Are there any specfic multiplexers to be used
or Can i use a multiplexer programmed into FPGA and manually control the timings?
Kindly identify the flaws in the approach, TVP7002 settings that should work for XGA (1024x768) 60Hz; 4:2:2 YCbCr out with embedded sync and DM6467's configuration.
Thanks in advance.
