AM5718: AM5718 interface with BCD input data

Hi,

I want to interface Grayhill 12 position channel knob PN : 513360-12-F with AM5718 processor.

The knob will give BCD output.

Which interface shall I use for interfacing and how to read the BCD value in processor.

Hello khushboo,

I believe you could utilize the GPIO pins. In terms of software I do not believe we offer any drivers for this so you would have to relay on the open source community.

Thankyou for the reply. Even after interfacing with GPIO, (4 GPIOs required). How to control interrupt? Suppose the position changes from 7th(0111) to 8th(1000). All four GPIO will generate interrupt, how to tackle that?

Depending on the OS you choose, you can see the SDK resources available on TI.com.

We do not currently have a solution for this kind of use-case, so the implementation for this is on the customer.
