Part Number: AM625
Hi,
I have a customer who wants to use AM6254 as the main station for EtherCAT, and would like to know what is the time of EtherCAT cycle?
Many thanks!

This is highly dependent on the EtherCAT main (master) stack being used, the number of subdevices (slaves) in the network, the size of the PDU being exchanged, and the usage of distributed clocks (DC). In practice this will range from something like 100-200us with few subdevices to something in the milliseconds range for larger systems with hundred or so of subdevices.
On AM6x devices possible stacks to run are https://www.ibv-augsburg.de/en/products/icnet/ethercat-master/ , https://www.acontis.com/en/ethercat-master.html and https://store.codesys.com/en/codesys-ethercat-master-sl.html . These stacks will balance features and performance differently.
