Are you trying to run the VTM code from Linux? Currently, the SDL VTM module on AM64x has only support for M4F and R5F cores.

AM64x has 2 temperature sensors placed at 2 different hotspots where we expect higher SoC temperatures. I am not sure if these temperature sensors can give us the temperature of a specific core. I will let the hardware expert comment on the first three questions.

This can be read to get the junction temperature of the device.

Accuracy is not specified for a specific device. But it will be within +/-8C across process, voltage, and temperature.

I'm not entirely sure what is being asked here, but the VTM can read the temperature from the two on die temp sensors which are intended to be located near hot spots on the device.
