Hi, I am working in a new platform with DM3730 and TPS65950. I would like use the MMC1 and MMC2 modules with a eMMC with VIOs = 1.8 Volts.

In the MMC1 module I only can use 4 bits mode, and in the MMC2 module I can use 8 bits mode. Is it ok?

If I use the MMC1 module with VIOs=1.8 Volts, With that power supply I have to feed? with 1.8 Volts?

and VDDS_SIM? Is it VDDS_SIM related to VDDS_MMC1?

Hi Brads, I have another question. I am using DM3730, then I only have 4-bit in the MMC1 module, If I want boot from MMC1 I need to feed the pin VDDS_MMC1 with 3.0 Volts.

But what about the pin VDDS_SIM? If I use the gpios: gpio_126, gpio_127, gpio_128 and gpio_129. Do I have to feed the VDDS_SIM pin to use these GPIOs? Can I use these gpios with 1.8Volts level?

Please see the "Ball Characteristics" table in the data sheet. There is a "Power" column that indicates the supply rail associated with each ball of the device. You must of course have that rail powered in order to use the corresponding ball.
