How does TDA4vm obtain the time, is it using NTP or GPS？

    Hello, 

    TDA4VM support the Common Platform Time Sync (CPTS) module is used to facilitate host control of time sync operations. It enables compliance with the IEEE 1588-2008 standard for a precision clock synchronization protocol.

    The CPTS module is integrated into the Gigabit Ethernet MAC (Media Access Controller)  and   Gigabit Ethernet Switch (CPSW0) modules on the TDA4VM.

    Please read these chapters  in the DRA829/TDA4VM Technical Reference Manual (Rev. C) for more details.
