AM625: buildroot support in SDK 9.x

Is there some better support for buildroot in the latest SDK 9.x? In old SDK, it requires below patch for buildroot, Does it still need the patch for SDK 9.x ?

The FAQ was done specifically for 8.x as a one time conceptual effort. Buildroot as a SDK offering is in exploratory evaluation stage.

Few questions.

1. Which device in particular you want to explore buildroot usage of ?

2. Have you tried applying the necessary patches from the FAQ pointed on a 9.x layer?
