Hi, Support Team

AM625 can support decode video stream? and also can dynamic control over the backlight area.when the panel displays darks sections, the backlight can be turned off instantly. read dimming blocks data transfer SPI signal to LED driver.

is workable?

if any suggestion, Please advise me.

Hi Lawrence,

AM62x supports Video decode using the open source Software based Gstreamer plugins and are not guaranteed to give good performance as there is no hardware acceleration.
