AM625: McSPI x4 use as QSPI

Hi,

May I have a question about AM62, AM64, AM6x Sitara device?

My customer is looking fowerd to CA53 SoC that have 2x QSPI interface.

I think AM62 and AM64 have only one QSPI IF.

Is the McSPI use for QSPI if bundle four McSPIs?

Hello GR,

Thank you for the query.

QSPI has 4 CS per instance. I assume your question is if you can use 4 instances of MCSPI to create a QSPI.

I am not sure if this would work. Each of the McSPI has a clock output and the QSPI needs a common clock input.

Thus us nit a use case we have sonsidered.

\Would a GPMC interface work for you ?
