LCD is not showing any data once we start EVM

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PMP

Hi

I started up the DM816X/C6A816X/AM389X EVM as per the instructions in the quick start quide.

i am not able to see any graphics image on the LCD as mentioned in the Quick start Guide. when i connected serial cable ( UART port in EVM)  to PC, i can see login prompt and can get into the root.

so do i have to set any other things inorder to see graphics images on LCD(Apart from whatever mentioned in the quick start guide)?

below  are the debug messages i got in the terminal . please let me know any thing wrong with  the EVM.

  • Hi,

I do not see the matrix-gui being launched.

Can you checked your SD card filesystem and verify if /etc/init.d/matrix-gui-e exists?

If it is missing i would re-create the SD card from scratch.

If it is there try and start it manually.

    Benoit
