AM69: What is the distinction between signals with 'z' suffix and signals with 'n' suffix?

The datasheet for the AM69 uses both 'z' and 'n' to signify active low signals:  https://www.ti.com/lit/gpn/am69
For example, both DDR1_RESETn and MCU_PORz are active-low signals.

Why use multiple naming conventions to signify active low signals?
Is there some distinction between the signals with the 'z' suffix and the signals with the 'n' suffix?
