AM69: SK-AM69 board can't boot

I got a E3 board, there is a TF card in the box, and it is not empty, insert it to board and power up, not output on Console.

Then I created a TF card with tisdk-default-image-j784s4-evm.wic.xz download from: https://www.ti.com/tool/download/PROCESSOR-SDK-LINUX-AM69

also no output.

Then I change boot mode to UART, there is CCC output after a serial of character.

My power supply is 5V 3A , we ever encounter board keeping reset if the input power is not enough, but mine doesn't output.

Could you set your boot mode to MicroSD card with the MicroSD card inserted?

the board is in micro sd boot mode in default will SW2 all in off, I switch to UART just to check if the board is dead.

I connect JTAG read out the boot mode register as below, compare with TDAV4H board, the setting is SD boot.

Then I switch SW2 to all 1, read again, so the switch setting works.

The device on AM69 board is HS-FS or GP?

I installed the SDK, copied tiboot3 from prebuit-images folder to boot partition, also no output from console UART.

Hi Tony,

SK-AM69 is an HS-FS device. Could you try to flash the edge ai image to see if this is an issue with the default image?

Can boot with this .wic image now.

BTW, the log console is the last one of 4.

Seems like the tiboot3.bin you were using was for the GP device rather than the HS-FS.

In your earlier wic image from tisdk-default-image-j784s4-evm.wic.xz can you try replacing the tiboot3.bin with tiboot3-j784s4-hs-evm.bin (rename this as tiboot3.bin). Actually I would have expected the wic image to have the hs-fs tiboot3.bin (R5 SPL).
