Can i use SYS bios only for DSP with QNX on ARM?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OMAPL138

Hi,

I am using OmapL138 EVM (zoom) board.

Can i use SYS bios on DSP with QNX/Linux on ARM?

is SYSLink support Communication with QNX?

  • Hi,

There is no support for SYSLink for OmapL138.

It is recommended that for OmapL138 platform you stay with DSP/BIOS v5.x for the DSP and you run Linux on the ARM and use DSPLink as the communication between ARM and DSP.  We provide a DVSDK for getting started.  I've posted the link to the DVSDK here.

  • I have tested dsplink sample applications on OMAPL138 EVM board using linux 2.6.33-rc4. I need to test dsplink application with QNX running on ARM core and DSP/Bios on DSP core. I got readwrite sample application built on ARM core i need DSP executable .out file to test this application, I used DSPlink prebuilt binary that came with OMAPL138 EVM QNX bsp. Can i compile dsp side readwrite application with CCS4.? If so, will this readwrite.out be compatible with readwrite(ARM) binary built in QNX IDE.?

Your help would be more appreciable.

    Thanks in advance,

    Zaheer
