AM62A7-Q1: VSEL_SD_SOC signal control

Part Number: AM62A7-Q1

Ref design use N22 port(VSEL_SD_SOC) to connect to PMIC_GPIO5 to change VDDSHV_ SDIO voltage.

When will SOC pull down N22 to set VDDSHV_ SDIO to 1.8V?

Is it automatic? Why can't we pull down this pin?

  • Hello yuzengbao,

    Thank you for the query.

I do not understand the query fully. Will try to answer.

When will SOC pull down N22 to set VDDSHV_ SDIO to 1.8V?

This is correct. There is a pullup near the PMIC.

Is it automatic? Why can't we pull down this pin?

    Do not understand by automatics.

The SD card IO is switched to 1.8V when higher speed is required.

    Please refer data sheet reference

The IO interface is expected to start with 3.3 V.
