Dear TI support team:

I need TI hardware team tell me why there is pull up resistor on the reset pin of DDR3 on the

TMDSSK3358 demo board ? Our Board using the same design with TMDSSK3358 using the pull up resistor。

We change to use ISSI DDR3 memory now, but ISSI side tell me to delete the pull up resistor on the DDR3 reset

pin .

What is the opinion of TI side ?Do we need to delete the pull up resistor?

Can the R237 pull up resistor be delete? The following is DDR3 part and cpu part of the schematic of TI AM3358 starter kit

The pull up resistor is only needed if you are employing low power modes, where the DDR has to be held in self refresh while the processor is powered down. The pull up would help maintain high on DDR_RESET.

If you are not using low power modes, you can remove this pullup
