I usually use PVRTune to profile the GPU performance. It is available here: https://developer.imaginationtech.com/pvrtune/ and IMG provides an APK for Android OS.

Yes, download the Linux 64bit option and inside the binary you will find the Android_v8 binary for PVRTune.
