AM623: BCDMA (Block Copy DMA) between GPMC and DDR

Part Number: AM623

Hi,

My customer would like to ask you about DMA transfer of AM62x.

They’re connecting FPGA on GPMC and want to use the Block Copy DMA (BCDMA) between GPMC and DDR.

Is it possible to operate the following use cases ?

  • Data transfer by BCDMA from LPDDR4 to GPMC
  • Data transfer by BCDMA from GPMC to LPDDR4

< GPMC Setting > (This is for connecting with FPGA.)

  • DEVICETYPE:NOR flash-like, asynchronous and synchronous devices
  • DEVICESIZE:16bit
  • MUXADDDATA:address and data-multiplexed attached device
  • READ/WRITEMULTIPLE:Multiple access
  • READ/WRITE TYPE:synchronous
  • ATTACHEDDEVICEPAGELENGTH:32byte

Note : There are SRAM also on GPMC other than FPGA. (CSs are different.)

Thanks and regards,

Hideaki
