I want to connect a camera sensor with GMSL serializer with the TI EVM. I know that the TI has FPDLink-III SerDes technology. Infact, I saw the fusion daughter card to integrate multiple camera with the EVM.
The fusion card has FPDLink-III deserializer and the output is MIPI CSI-2 to interface with EVM. Am I right?
But the problem is that the FPDLink-III deserializer is not compatible with my camera sensor + GMSL serializer.
If that is the case, then, what if I have a GMSL deserializer that outputs in MIPI CSI-2 format, and I connect it with the EVM.
Something like this: camera sensor -> GMSL serializer -> GMSL deserializer -> MIPI CSI-2 -> EVM
Will it work?
