Problem in reading CPU load value

Hi,

I am using dmai api for cpu load. Processor - dm6467 and dvsdk_3_10_00_16.

API

Int Cpu_getLoad(Cpu_Handle hCpu, Int *cpuLoad);

Sometime it's gives garbage value although value should remains between 0 - 100%.

Can anyone please help me in solving this?

This issue seems to be Linux specific rather than for BIOS, so I am moving this thread to the Linux forum in hopes that it will get a faster response there.

Hi Amir,

There were some bug fixes that went into the Cpu module in DMAI in the latest release. Either you can upgrade or the simpler thing to do may be for you to check out the latest code in gforge (Dmai is an open source project) for packages/ti/sdo/dmai/linux/Cpu.c and see if you can copy the changes into the corresponding file in your build.
