TDA4VL-Q1: CSIRX ecc and crc error when starting ipc communication

Hi TI experts,

HW: our custom board

SDK: j721s2, 8.6

4*max96715-->max96724-->csi0

I ran multi_cam to capture 4 sensor images and created another process to communicate with mcu1_0 via ipc.

After starting ipc communication,image data cannot be captured, and the crcCount, eccCount and correctedEccCount increase.

How to resolve it?

Hi Tarun,

yes, I use vision_apps/apps/basic_demos/app_multi_cam to capture image data.

Have you enabled mcu1_0 on vision_apps?

May I know among which core is the IPC communication taking place?

Hi,

mcu1_0 runs cdd_ipc in mcusw to communicate with the A72 running Linux.

I found that the image data can be captured normally when the Cdd_IpcReceiveMsg function is commented out. Why does receiving rpmsg messages cause csirx errors?

Could you share me the way you are doing ipc from mcu to A72?

We could align on the steps you are using to get this issue so that I could try the same at my end on the EVM.
