SK-AM64B: AM64B: Issue with Linux Boot up via SD card boot mode

Dear team,

I am trying boot AM64b with Linux via SD card boot mode.

Steps followed:

1. Downloaded Processor-SDK_Linux-AM64X Version: 09.00.00.03 wic image

2. Flashed WIC image on 64GB SD card using BalenaEtcher

3. Inserted Micro SD card to board

4. Changed the boot mode swich to SD card setting

5. Powerd on the board.

On UARt terminal, it got stuck after some time with below error

Please provide some help.

Hello,
Can we try another SD card (different brand)?
Alternatively refer to SK-AM64B errata ID#7 "Issue 7 - uSD Boot Not Working"

Hello Hong Guan64,

I have read the errata & for "Issue 7 - uSD Boot Not Working" the resolution given to populate the 10K resistor on R68, R69, R70, R84, R85 and R466 in the top side of the EVM resolve the issue as shown in below screenshot.

But all the resistors are already mounted on the board which I am having. I measured the resistors value, except R466 all are 10K. R466 is 46.65K

I will check booting with different brand SD card. Any specific brand you recommend??

"Affected Version: E1, E2, E3, E4, Rev A
...
Solution:Installing 10K resistor on R68, R69, R70, R84, R85 and R466 in the top side of the EVM resolve the issue."
