AM62A3: RGMII based MAC2MAC connection

Hi all,

one of our customers has a need to interface the AM62A directly via a CPSW3G port RGMII/MAC2MAC connection to an external component. We have located an appnote written for TDA4VM, where an example is provided to connect the TDA4 CPSW2G RGMII/MAC2MAC to one of the ports of the CPSW9G.

On the AM62A, since the CPSW IP is being reused to a large extend, we suspect a CPSW2G configuration is very similar to CPSW3G. Is the RGMII MAC2MAC connection a supported interface?

Are there particular issues to watch out for?
