PROCESSOR-SDK-AM62X: buildroot for am6254

Hi experts,

SDK_AM62X_08.06.00.42 ,I found buildroot just used on the Ubuntu 22.04 for am6254
so I have 3 questions.
1、 if I just use the buildroot compiled for rootfs , will it work ok ?
2、 could I use the ubuntu 18.04 to build the buildroot ?
3、util now ,could the official version of buildroot for the AM6254 work ok steady? I found in this page:[FAQ] Buildroot Support for Sitara AM62x/AM62Ax/AM64x Devices - Processors forum - Processors - TI E2E support forums ,the buildroot is just experimental .

Hi，could you give some advices on how to use yocto to build the rootfs for am6254?
I have not find some information about it .

That's possible, just make sure when installing the Kernel into the rootfs to also install any modules alongside with it.

You should not be using Ubuntu 18.04 for anything, it is officially end-of-life, unless you have a very special support agreement in place with the OS vendor. https://ubuntu.com/blog/18-04-end-of-standard-support

There's support for AM62x and AM64x in current Buildroot upstream tree but the support is not complete (missing graphics, no support for secure device variants, etc.). It is our goal to complete this upstream effort within the next few months by re-starting working with the community on this. There are no plans for an "official TI Buildroot" SDK at this time, so the upstream solution will be the way to go for the foreseeable future.
