I am designing the omap3530 with the NAND flash. With the omap, it is written the gpmc_cs (chip select) support up to 128Mbytes for each chip select. We sourced for a single chip 8Gbit Nand flash for Micron, the memory chip only have one chip select, but Omap requires 8 chip select to work for 8Gbit. I read the current Nand flash used by the Gumstix's board with Omap, the addressing support up to BA16. This means that within Omap, cannot support addressing up to BA17 or BA18. Could you confirm my comment?
Do you have an alternative for Omap to support single chip 8Gbit Nand flash with one chip select? I am looking at discrete connecting Micron MT29F4G16ABBDAH4.
