Is this software signed by a trusted third party?

Is the software cloud based?

Is the software downloaded from a US hosted facility?

    Steve,

    Our installation packages are signed.

    Code Composer Studio is available as a desktop application and in the cloud on the TI Developer Zone.

    Ti software is uploaded to a US based server however TI uses a service that mirrors the content so that you download from a server close to where you are located.

    Code Composer Studio does have an update check that will contact a TI server to see if updates are available.  This can be disabled.  The Resource Explorer feature will also show the latest software content that is online when opened.  There is an option to send information to support that will send issue information to TI if the user explicitly chooses to do this.
