Hello, we are doing development on the TMS320C5515 ezDSP usb stick but will switch to the TMMS320C5501 for production because of cost feature set, and speed.
I am generating the schematic now and see that spectrum digital is coming out with the TMS320C5502 ezDSP usb stick, but it is not yet available. This processor is much closer to what I will be using and was wondering if I could get a copy of the schematic or help with the questions below. Even PDF would be good since I really just need to see how things are hooked up different.
The main features I have questions about are the parallel flash memory interface. which pins are the flash WE OE and CS, A0 connected to on the 5502.
Also we will be using the same codec TLV320AIC3204 and it uses both I2C and I2S. I would like to know how the I2S is configured on the 5502. There are also some house keeping pins that I see are different. No more EM_wait, no 1.8Vcore
