Any plans for a C5000 capable of motor control?

We are currently using a 28035 to do FOC control of a small, battery powered motor for a medical application. Does TI have any plans to offer a C5000 family processor with the same peripheral set as the 28035 to do motor control in battery powered devices? We really need a longer battery life and are looking to save power wherever we can.
