PROCESSOR-SDK-J784S4: Better flow to write new C7x fw without manually flashing SD card?

We are using the J784S4 and the current method to update any changes related to files that involve the C71 such as image process kernels is to unplug the sd card from the device, plug the sd card onto the host, overwrite the rootfs partition, and then plug in the sd card again.

Is there a way to do this without having to unplug / plug the SD card every time?

Hi,

With every change that you make in C7x fw , needs to be updated, now in order to achieve this you have build the fw and flash the sd card so that your changes will be reflected and you can run the executables stored on SD card on C7x cores.

At this moment I don't collect any thoughts on building the c7x fw on evm without removing the sd card.
