Hi all, I am a little bit beginner in DSP programming. This is my first post here.
I am working on the DSK 6455 board in loop back mode (without mezzanine) using CCS 4 version. I am trying to make a communication for data transfer between the DSK6455 board and another board that has a C6455 DSP.
I searched the internet and found that the best way for communication is using SRIO. I read a lot of topics in different forum about
SRIO and I also read a lot of data sheets (TMS320C6455, SRIO User's guide). Even all of this, I am a little lost. I don't know how to
make the connection in hardware and in software. I found that I should use a sort of an AMC connector for that. I don't know where
can I get it and how I will connect it to the board (shall I use solder or something ?).
Also in the software side, I don't know if there is a ready library or code I can use for that. What if I don't have the AMC connector,
can I use normal wires ?
Can you help me in that ?
All help is welcome :)
Thanks a lot!
Best regards,
Ahmed
