The TISDK 08.06 indicates a eMMC boot partition of 8MB:

Is is possible to use an eMMC with a boot partition of 4MB ?
Which modification must be done to the SDK to handle a boot partition of 4MB ?

Could you explain if there is some risk or limitation to use such eMMC ?

Hello Alexis,
One option to check eMMC boot partition size is runnig "mmc info" @u-boot.
It is feasible to fit u-boot binaries (tiboot3.bin/tispl.bin/u-boot.img) to boot0 or boot1 (i.e. 4MB).
This is one reference on how to customize binary offset within eMMC boot partition.

In the mapping there is offset for environement data at 0x3400 to 0x3600.
