LCD display resolution changes from EBOOT do not seem to work

I am running the Logic 3517 eXperimenter Dev Kit with Compact 7 and the TI BSP (BSP 2.00.00.02). I am trying to change the resolution on the LCD in EBOOT but only the default resolution seems to work (see black screen with resolutions other than default).

Do I need to do anything other than select the resolution in EBOOT? Should all resolutions work?

Dennis,

The other eboot options for display resolution are for the HDMI output (listed as DVI resolutions). Please connect the HDMI interface to a monitor and set S7-8 to on position (as mentioned in user guide) in addition to the eboot settings you are trying.

There is only one option for LCD in the eboot menu.

OK thanks. So you need to chnage the LCD touchscreen resoultion in the code?

Are you talking about your custom board or TI EVM? For TI EVM, there is only one LCD part that is supported both in h/w and s/w and that is option 1 in eboot - there is no need for changing any BSP code. For your custom board and custom LCD part, yes, you will have to modify the LCD code to support your LCD parameters.
