When I connect my evaluation board to a serial terminal (such as Tera Term), and power on the board, a byte of information is always printed. Under 115200 Baud, there is no value, but under other Bauds, I get the same character consistently. For example, for 38400 Baud, I see "≡" consistently when power cycling the board.
My question is: Is there any meaning to this character? Is it simply just transient signals passing through the FTDI chip, producing some unknown character?
