TMS320C5535  question

1. does IC external flash ? 

2. How much does flash support?

3. IC / flash interface 

4. programming language ? 

5. First time factory burning CODE method? (USB? JTEG?)

    Hi James,

    1. C5535 needs external flash (it does not have on chip flash)

    2. It supports either 16-bit address (64KB) or 24-bit address (16MB)

    3. SPI interface

    4. All the CSL library and examples are written in C and some assembly code.

    5. The first-time factory burning can be done either through USB or UART. Of course, we recommend burn to the flash before it assembled to the board.
