Hi Ravikumar,
Is this thread a duplicate of your other thread that you created: https://e2e.ti.com/support/processors-group/processors/f/processors-forum/1305234/am625-u-boot-porting/4958678?tisearch=e2e-sitesearch&keymatch=%25252520user%2525253A586189#4958678
Also, for porting u-boot, if you are aware of the requirements (Network, DDR, UARTs, etc..) on your custom hardware, then you should be able to follow the instructions provided in section 3.1 u-boot:

Hi Suren Porwar,
Thank you for your inputs.
Could you please provide more details on am62x_evm_r5_defconfig and am62x_evm_a53_defconfig? Additionally, could you guide me on how to add files on top of these two configurations.
Best Regards,
Ravikumar
Hi Ravikumar,
Wishing you a happy new year and apologies for the delay.
These two defconfig files are basically u-boot related configuration for each of the cores (R5) and A53 (Main Application core). If you follow the instructions provided in building u-boot in the SDK documentation, you would use these two defconfig files in order to build the u-boot Images required to boot the SoC.
Also, could you provide more details on what files you want to add on top of these two configurations?
Best Regards.
Suren
Hi Suren,
Thank you for your valuable response.
My main question is: can I modify the am62x_evm_r5_defconfig and am62x_evm_a53_defconfig files according to my own board configuration?
Best Regards
Ravikumar
Yes Ravikumar, you should be able to modify these files based on your board configuration and features available on your custom board.
Best Regards,
Suren
