AM623: about tiboot3.bin

Hi experts:

My board use AM6234, and sdk use "ti-processor-sdk-linux-rt-am62xx-evm-08.06.00.42-Linux-x86-Install.bin".

I burned "tisdk-default-image-am62xx-evm.wic.xz" to a sd card, and insert to board, that can run, some message on serial.

Then I copy "tiboot3-am62x-gp-evm.bin" to "tiboot3.bin" in the "boot" partition, and restart the board, that can not run, not message on serial.

I want to know why? Thanks!

Hi Song,

If the default WIC image is working on your board that means the board is HSFS since the default image will boot only on HSFS board. And so, the GP image (tiboot3-am62x-gp-evm.bin) won't boot on the HSFS board.

May I know why you are copying GP image as tiboot3.bin if the default WIC image is booting?

Have you verified that it is indeed a GP device. Could you please once follow the below FAQ & confirm it's GP device indeed
