I agree with the issue that 'C66x Bootloader User Guide' is diffucult to understand for a newbie. Lots of  information about tables, less information about i2c boot sequence.

Instead I suggest reading 'C645x Bootloader User Guide' where there are small differences in the tables but as far as I understand the boot algorithm is similar with C66x for I2c Boot. This document is better than the first one from the point of understanding the i2c boot sequence...

I will check it, I was looking for an easy way for integrating the different cores SW (ELF format) to one file so it will be able to be burn to the SPI flash, or/and if there is an example to boot from SPI only for more than one core with different SW's, I expected to see new examples but they are not there....

I am not sure about IBL example. but right now I am working on the RBL example for both SPI and I2C. Also I have already supplied the latest version of the bootloader UG, it will be published anytime now.

Hi Arun, The issue with RBL that it needs the Eth. which not always exist in the final board, will it be still possible to have the IBL SPI and I2C for more than one core example? Many Thanks, HR

I am not sure what you mean by RBL needs ETH. If you choose to have RBL i2c boot mode, you don't need ethernet also I don't think we have seperate IBL i2c and SPI. I can get a example code into my package. Till that you can refer the SRIO boot example whihc is practically the same. Once you get the combined btbl, you can follow the I2c or SPI boot mode utilities to get the code in the desired format.
