cmemk.ko, irqk.ko, dm365mmap.ko, edmak.ko

Hi,

Could anyone please tell me why do we load the four modules (cmemk.ko, edmak.ko, irqk.ko, dm365mmap.ko) before we start to run encode or decode demo on the DM365 EVM. I have worked with DM6446 before and at that time I had to load cmemk.ko and dsplink.ko; where cmemk.ko was used to allocate contiguous memory pools for the video applications. The contiguous memory allocation in DM365 was required because there were two cores ARM and DSP and DSP did not have an MMU. But DM365 is only single core with only ARM processor then why do we need a cmemk.ko? Also why do we need the other modules? Please reply soon.

Thanks in advance.
