Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SYSCONFIG, SK-AM62, TMDS64EVM
Greetings!
Looking at Table 7-143 of the datasheet for AM62x Sitara Processors, it is indicated that the max programmable baud rate for Main Domain UARTs is 12 Mbps. This is desirable to me because our customer requires at least 10 Mbps for a differential LVDS signal pair.
However, switching over to the Technical Reference Manual for this family of processors, I cannot find this spec repeated. Instead, I am finding that the maximum baud rate is only 3.6 Mbps according to Section 12.2.4.1.1 and Section 12.2.4.4.8.1.2. Nowhere in the manual can I find confirmation of the 12 Mbps.
I am confused as to what the true max baud rate is here. Can you please confirm one of the following:
1) Each of the Main Domain UARTs can run up to 12 Mbps (with evidence if possible, so that I am confident), or
2) They cannot run up to 12Mbps
Thanks for your time.
