PROCESSOR-SDK-AM62X: Cannot identify eMMC which is connected to MMC2 interface

Hi there,

We are using AM62x Soc on our device and MMC2 interface is used to connect to an eMMC device. However. the eMMC device cannot be identified since we modified k3-am625-sk.dts with reference to mmc2 many times. Does MMC2 interface support eMMC device? Is MMC2 interface compliant with eMMC Standard Specification?

    Hi Zekun,

    eMMC on AM62x MMC2 interface is not supported.

    Please check the AM62x Datasheet - Section 7.11.5.16.1 states MMC0 is compliant with
    1. JEDEC eMMC Standard v5.1
    2. SD Host Controller Spec 4.10

    while Section 7.11.5.16.2 states MMC1/MMC2 is compiant with SD Host Controller Spec only, not eMMC.
