AM3517 EVM does not boot, regardless if I put an SD card or not.

AsafAvivi did you figure out how to boot the demo?  I am having the same problem.  No SD card will boot.

Make sure the write protection switch is disabled. SD-Cards from some manufactures won't work, too. Are the switches 1, 4 and 8 on S7 enabled and the others disabled? I use a 2 GB Transcend MicroSD and it works fine with its adaptor

While working on the SD card boot for AM3517, we found that at times the AM3517 ROM bootloader cannot read the card properly even when it was readable by a windows Host.

There is a remedy that makes the cards work: Use HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool v2.0.6 to format the card and then copy the x-loader and u-boot files on the card.
