PROCESSOR-SDK-J721S2: Clarification if we need new keywriter file if we use same SoC on new carryover project

Part Number: PROCESSOR-SDK-J721S2

Hello TI Support team,

We are using the TI J721S2 Jacinto processor for one of our projects STL CVADAS.

We are using the TI keywriter SDK to generate the keywriter binary with our production key and certificates.

Sometime back we awarded a new project which simply the carryover of current project STL CVADAS, in which we are using the same SoC which we used on previous projects.

Design and requirements are also the same for the project.

So the question is do we need to generate/create a new keywriter binary for that project? or can we use the same keywriter which we used on previous project?

If we need to develop a new keywriter would TI provide a new TI FEK public key or we can use the same key? Does TI FEK public key is produced per processor family?

We need this FEK public to create SMPK key pair generation of new keywriter.

Could you please provide your feedback on it?

Also provide any additional details which can be useful to understand this topic.
