Customer hasn't shared the SCH with us. I draw a picture to illustrate their thought.
From what I have based on the initial feedback, as long as USB is NOT part of any enabled boot mode and the software leaves the interface disabled, I think this should be OK.
By default, the pins must be configured correctly to not drive on these pins. It will be a good idea in general to have a resistor (1k/ 10k) to gnd.
