C6618 BSP Encoder Submodule output

I am using CCS 5.0.3 and have installed bios_mcsdk_02_00_01_12.  I am trying to modify the example project that came with  the PDK (Bcp_exampleProject) to see the output of the BCP's encoder submodule.  In the BCP users manual it says that the encoder output typically goes to either the rate matching or interleaver submodule.  Does this mean that the encoder submodule output can only go to one of  these modules or can I pass the encoded data out of the BCP (through the traffic module)?

  • Hi Jim,

Yes, the encoder submodule output can be passed out of the BCP through the traffic module.

In fact, any submodule can do this.As per the BCP user guide "All submodules can be used stand-alone or can effectively be bypassed because all
submodules have an input and output path to the traffic manager (TM)."
