PROCESSOR-SDK-AM335X: Recommended Supported Ubuntu Linux LTS distribution

Part Number: PROCESSOR-SDK-AM335X

Hello,

I am setting up the Processor SDK Linux for AM335X 09_01_00_001. According to the following instructions:

https://software-dl.ti.com/processor-sdk-linux/esd/AM335X/09_01_00_001/exports/docs/linux/Overview/Processor_SDK_Linux_Getting_Started_Guide.html

Under the following section

1.1.1.2. What would you like to do with the SDK?

it states the following:

So I installed Ubuntu 18.04.

Then, further along in the same document under the heading

1.1.3. Run Setup Scripts

it states the following:

Also, in the actual setup script, there is an error that 22.04 is the only supported version:

In the note above, it states that you should modify the script to (I assume) get rid of the error message and continue.

My question is, which is the actual recommended version? 18.04, or 22.04.

Sincerely,

Marcus
